The successful Job fair at ČZU was visited by several hundred students

On Thursday 27 February 2020  took place in the premises of Menza ČZU Job fair. The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology (FLD) together with the Faculty of Environment (FŽP) had 9 exhibitors:Archbishopric of Prague - Lesní správa, Lesy ČR, s., KRONOSPAN CR, spol. s r.o., LESPROJEKT Východní Čechy, s.r.o., PILA MARTINICE s.r.o., Agency for Nature and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic, Unipetrol Research and Education Center, a. s., REMA and Surveying Institute.

The company introduced this year and future graduates FLD its activities and a wide range of jobs to different types of employment contracts in the field of environmental protection, forestry, timber, etc. Representatives of the companies had the opportunity to share with students valuable practical experience and possibly select a talented new colleagues .

The program also included interesting lectures of our guests:

  • Dean of the University of Forestry in Sofia Ivan Paligorov - “Future Environmentalists Education and Research”
  • Petko Dimitrov Tzvetkov of Vlahi Nature School, Bulgaria - “Offers for student volunteering”
  • Zornitsa Stratieva and Jordan Dineva of the Association of Parks in Bulgaria & Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation - “Innovative Educational Toolkit for Future Environmentalists project”
  • Kyriakos Skordas of the Hunting Federation of Macedonia and Thrace - Working with the stakeholders. Use your knowledge for Wildlife Management to participate in promising networks ”.

Other faculties were held at other places of the ČZU campus. This year was one of the most successful, several hundred students attended the fair.

Job fair was realized within the project "Future environmentalists - linking the EU natural capital management with field research". The project is supported by the Erasmus + program of the European Commission, Key Action 2: Strategic Partnership through the Activity Agreement № CSP 2018-1-BG01-KA203-04796.
