On 23 of April at 17.00 EEST will be held a webinar for Old growth forests. Approaches to ensure their protection – examples from Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.
This webinar is about the old-growth forests (OGFs) and different approaches to ensure their protection. What is an old growth forest, where in Europe there are still OGFs left, why to protect them and how – all these questions will be addressed. The focus of the webinar is to present different tools enabling protection of OGFs, already applied in Bulgaria. A brief overview and examples for protecting OGFs in Romania, Ukraine and Slovakia will be also provided.
