In this webinar we are going to talk about restoring riparian forests and we will show you some case studies from Bulgaria.
Forest restoration is gaining speed nowadays in Europe. The webinar will briefly address the difference between reforestation, afforestation, forest restoration and landscape forest restoration. The focus will be given on restoring valuable forest habitats, such as riparian forests by presenting case studies from Bulgaria and other countries from Central and Eastern Europe. Main challenges and lessons learned from a ten-year experience will be discussed. Some practical tips and good examples will be also provided
